The staff were very friendly and very helpful with every request. Nothing was too much trouble.
Unfortunately the hotel has a club attached that attracts a few rowdies. This didn't bother me at all, but people wishing for peace and quiet would need to specify when booking that they wish their room to be far away from the noise.
We enjoyed the convenient city centre location. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our breakfast in the restaurant was very good indeed. Our room was comfortable, and, despite the central location, noise was not a problem
The lack of dedicated parking space might be a problem for some guests although we were fortunate and found parking in the hotel's private space. The alternative would have been a Pay and Display car park. Also, as there was no parking at the entrance to the hotel, this involved carrying luggage up a flight of stone steps from the parking space at the rear of the building.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, it had a nice relaxed atmosphere.
The air conditioning unit was outside our bedroom window and was operating the whole time, okay during the day but irritating at night, kept me awake the first night. Also no parking facilities if you want to leave the car and take the train or bus into Edinburgh for the day, i,e, maximum stay was 3 hours in the car park behind the hotel.
In was right in the centre of Dunfermline. The breakfast was excellent.
If we hadn't a satnav we would have struggled to find it.
The staff were excellent and made us feel welcome immediately. The room was very clean and airy and we had use of a tv, dvd player and free internet. There is also a restaurant attached to the hotel, unfortunately we did not have time to use it but the menu looked very good. I can definately recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Knockhill Racing Circuit as this is only 15 minutes away.
The only drawback that we encountered was the hotel does not have its own private car park, and you have to use the nearby car parking. It certainly would not stop me from going to this hotel again.
Very friendly and helpful staff who could not do too much to help, no matter what the problem. Relaxed atmosphere in the Hotel. The breakfasts were fantastic in the lovely restaurant setting.
My only negative comment was the strong garlic smell from the Italian restaurant - this put our party off eating there in the evenings.
travelling with my wife who is in a wheelchair the room was ok the food was fine but the main plus was the two young ladies who were very helpful.
the fact that the room was being for storing beds and we had to move beds so we could get the wheelchair up the side.i spoke to the manager who promised to look into the room layout.
The Hotel is right at center of town, many shops and bars nearby, restaurant looks nice as breakfast is served there and it was nice too.
Although we had a non-smoking room the bathroom smelled of smoke, maybe a previous occupant had smoked in it,but found a cigarette also outside window. It did not bother me as much as my partner as she was trying to give up smoking and found it a bit annoying, that was room 106.
This hotel has all you need good food pleasant rooms and the staff do all they can to help . rooms a little on the small size but that does not take anything away from a lovely hotel
Great location but radiator did not work , asked 4 times minus 4 outside !
had read mixed reviews regarding cleanliness and noise from nightclub next door.found room clean and comfortable nightclub did not disturb us.breakfast good choice either continental or full english well presented.overall good value for money and good location for restaurants shops etc
Great location, helpful staff, ideal room and lovely breakfast
Only downfall was no private parking but we easily found a space nearby
Saff were excellent ,Great breakfast
Very good for the price, good location and good rooms
I had two single beds pushed together and kept falling between while trying too sleep
This hotel was nice and comfortable and the staff very friendly,I was a bit concerned that it was next to a bar disco and restaurant after a long day driving but my fears were unfounded it was a Thursday and was very quiet.
