No chef in the morning to have an english breakfast
The room was well finished and clean.
The noise from the night club next door was a bit too much. Didn't know that it was attached to hotel although not an issue if you had some extra sound proofing.
discopub in the same building, very high volume until 3 o' clock
Rooms very clean and staff excellent.
Staff were helpful and hotel isright at the centre of Dunfermline.
The toilet was broken the Internet didn't work and the tv only had 2 channels.
It was a good value, clean and comfortable. Restaurant downstairs was convenient and good.
A little noisy room to room and street noise.
Room was very clean and decor modern, room had a deceivingly large bathroom! Customer service was excellent, I could not find the hairdryer so minutes after calling one was brought up, I then needed directions so the girl googled them for me. The service at breakfast was superb, very friendly and warm welcome, could not do enough for you. The only coffee on the buffet table was instant, however when I asked for filter coffee it was not a problem. We were with a group for a wedding and ate in the restaurant the night before, the service was excellent and the food very good, though they did not have a wine list which I thought odd considering the quality of the food. Over all nice hotel.
The room did get very warm and stuffy and you could not open the window as there was a noisy air conditioning unit just outside, the air conditioner in the room was to noisy to leave on.our friends could not open their window as the night club next door made alot of noise, so not great if you are wanting bed before the wee small hours. Also the bed was a bit lumpy, new mattresses and double glazing would sort it!
staff were friendly and accommodating and the food in the restaurant was good.
Staff very welcoming, rooms well equipped, location terrific for town centre shopping, historical site seeing, theatre trips and local park. Would also recommend the onsite Italian restaurant. Excellent value for money. Parking available directly behind hotel.
Couldnt fault the room or facilities however the room we were allocated did have an extractor fan outside the window for the building next door. The noise was minimal once we closed the double glazed window.
Staff very polite and helpful.Facilities were excellent and in a central location would definately return
Staff were very helpful and the restaurant was excellent food and very helpful staff
There were hairs down the plug hole :(
Comfortable room, stylish decor. Good breakfast.
No view out of the window, just a wall a couple of feet away.
Location was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rate was excellent also! The hotel was very clean throughout. The food was of a very high standard, and reasonably priced.
Reception very small. No foyer/lounge for relaxing. No private car parking facilties! We had to use public parking meters. You need to be up early in the morning to beat the traffic wardens! We got a £30 parking ticket fine before we went to breakfast at 8-30am!! The hotel has a Night Club and there was a lot of noise in the early hours! -- None of these spoiled our stay though, and we would definitely stay there again, and recommend this hotel to others.
The staff were amazing. And the breakfast, top rate!
Our room was very dark , lack of daylight and poor view.
Very friendly staff, excellent food, comfy room, value for money.
Maybe suggest another chair in King room.
